African Empowerment Hub Uganda (AEHU) located at Kampala, Uganda. AEHU is a not-for profit organization where we work with local communities, orphanage homes, disabled children homes and schools in Uganda. It was registered as a not for profit company limited by guarantee in August 2015.We provide strong leadership to effectively empower youths especially girls and women in the different rural areas in Uganda. We also do charity focusing on children especially the orphans and the disabled.

We provide children with scholastic materials, food, clothes and sanitary towels for girls. We also educate girls about menstrual hygiene management as well as sexual reproductive health. In addition, we provide education and career mentoring and counselling services children especially the girl child and we sensitize parents and guardians about the value of educating girls.

We aim at making sure every child especially the girl child, disabled and the orphans is comfortable and has the basic needs to enable them have a future.

We want to keep girls in school as well as enable them to perform well by addressing the social problems that keep them out of school.

Currently we are paying school fees for 6 girls and 3 boys in primary school aged between 7years and 10 years. Some of these children are total orphans living with their grandmothers while others are living with their single mothers who cannot afford their school fees.

Our goal is to influence attitudes through capacity building, mentoring, community outreach, financial literacy, encouraging education through career guidance, sexual reproductive health talks and menstrual hygiene management talk and charity.
